As ever most people will want to know when the holidays are for the next school year to book in advance and take advantage of those deals and free child places. Below is a guide for the school year 2009 - 2010. As always you should double check with your child’s school as different LEAs have different term times. Check here for your LEA.

Passport prices to increase

The cost of renewing your passport will increase from September.
The costs can be seen here.
If you’re passport is due to expire after September, you may be able to renew before the new price increase. You can renew you passport up to 9 months before it is due to expire and the remaining time left on the old passport will be added on to the new passport. See here for the rules.
